Why ACE

More than a weekly lesson.

Weekly lessons are the starting point. Around them, students get resources, recorded classes, homework feedback, mentorship and study advice through the ACE Portal, so the support keeps going between sessions. It is how we help students aim higher, take on challenges and make real progress.

What you get with ACE.

Tutoring is only one part of the support. Students have access to a wider set of tools and people to help them keep learning between lessons.

01

Personalised support

Students can access peer-to-peer mentorship from high-achieving students who have recently completed VCE. They can ask questions, compare study approaches, get practical advice and learn from someone who has recently been through the same experience.

02

Structured curriculum

Lessons follow a clear structure rather than relying on whatever happens to be difficult that week. Tutors work through the relevant content, identify gaps, give students opportunities to practise and build towards upcoming assessments.

03

Parent communication

Parents should know how their child is progressing. ACE keeps communication open so parents can understand what their child is working on, where they may need additional support and what is happening outside the classroom.

04

Student lounge

The student lounge gives students a place to stay, study and ask questions before or after their scheduled lesson. It provides a more relaxed environment for students who want to continue working rather than heading straight home.

05

Study advice & VCE mentorship

VCE can become difficult to manage when everything starts happening at once. Students can access practical advice around time management, study routines, subject planning, exam preparation and thinking about what comes after Year 12.

06

Weekly lessons

Regular tutoring gives students a consistent time to work through difficult topics, practise what they have learned and stay on top of upcoming schoolwork.

07

Headstart & revision sessions

Headstart sessions introduce upcoming content before students encounter it at school. Revision sessions revisit important concepts before assessments and exams, giving students another opportunity to consolidate what they know.

08

Support beyond the lesson

Questions do not always come up during class. Through the ACE Portal, students can access resources, recorded lessons, homework support and other learning tools when they need them.

09

SAC & exam preparation

Students can work through practice SACs, exam-style questions and revision material before important assessments. The aim is not just to complete more questions, but to understand what an assessment is asking and become more comfortable under exam conditions.

The ACE Portal

Your tutoring doesn't end when class does.

The ACE Portal keeps everything students need in one place. Review a recorded class, download resources, submit homework, check feedback, book additional help and keep track of upcoming work.

Start where your child is. Build from there.

Some students need extra support to catch up and build confidence. Others are already doing well and want to push further. ACE works for both, from primary foundations through to VCE. We start with where they are now, then build from there.

So, what happens after you enrol?

Most families want to know the same thing: what actually happens after we sign up? Here is how it usually works.

  1. 01

    Get in touch

Tell us the year level, subject and what is going on.

  2. 02

    We recommend a starting point

We look at where your child is now and what they actually need.

  3. 03

    Start sessions

They begin one-to-one or small group sessions with the right tutor.

  4. 04

    Learn, revise, practise

Sessions focus on filling gaps, building confidence and improving results.

  5. 05

    Parents stay in the loop

You know what is being worked on and how things are going.

  6. 06

    Build from there

As confidence and results improve, the plan can grow with them.

Taught by people who sat these exams only a few years ago.

ACE tutors are recent high school graduates, not distant experts who cannot relate. Most of them struggled with these subjects at some point, then worked out how to excel. They sat the same exams only a few years ago, which is exactly why students connect with them.

I've had an excellent experience with ACE education centre. Since starting my sessions, I've seen a significant improvement in both my understanding of complex concepts and my overall academic performance in methods. Ammar has a remarkable ability to explain difficult topics in a clear and accessible way, making learning engaging and effective. His teaching style is both supportive and thorough, which has greatly boosted my confidence and scores. I highly recommend ACE education centre to anyone looking for top-notch academic support and a solid boost in their studies!

Hamdaan AhmedMethods & Specialist student, 40+ study scores
In 2024, I attended classes for Methods and Specialist tuition and I found these to be pivotal in helping me reach raw/scaled 40+ study scores in both subjects. The classes were well structured and content was taught very clearly. The preparation leading up to exams was also a game changer, with a focus on ironing out mistakes and maximising results. I would recommend anyone to begin tuition classes at ACE education as soon as possible.

It was a really good experience, my maths scores improved a lot. ACE Education offers not one of the best but the best tutoring for VCE Methods and Physics. Ammar and his tutors are so good at breaking difficult information into easy and digestible information through clear explanations and thoughtful examples, they make the difficult stuff look easy! I would recommend ACE Education to any of my friends for all the subjects they offer, especially Maths and Physics.
